My favorite is Sonny Bryans's BBQ , the original one, Here in Dallas, Tx. It was opened in the early 50's. It looks like a dump, has old school desks for tables, but the best ribs in Dallas. People in suits sit next to construction workers in the desks eating them great ribs. The have opened new ones which are not dumps, but the original one is still the best. Oh yea, they open at 11 for lunch and they close when they run out of food, usually around 1:30 or 2

It depends what type of food you want to eat. In southern California, we have thousands of good restaurant that you can enjoy eating. To me, I eat several different varieties such Italian, Japanese, Thailand, and Vietnamese. For Italian, I suggest Mangia Bene in Laguna Niguel. It's a little bit pricy. For Japanese, I like Matsu in Hungtington Beach where you can eat sushi or other delicious dishes. Another recommended Japanese restaurant is Honda Kopa is also in Fountain Valley. They are open late until 1am. For Thailand food, I like to go to Thai Town on Hollywood Blvd or Your Place in Santa Barbara. For Vietnamese food, there are a lot of good restaurants located on Bolsa Ave, Brookhurst St, Magnolia. For vegeterian food, I like to eat at Wheel of Fortune in Irvine; Natural Cafe in Santa Barbara, Au Lac in Fountain Valley, Bhodda Tree in Newport Beach.

Oregano's there's a few in AZ. They're in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Flagstaff, & Tucson. I've eaten in all but Tucson. :) If we don't have our 3 year old with us, it's worth the 2 or 3 hour wait

My other favorite is Cucina Tagliani in Glendale, AZ

It depends on the cuisine. Cole's Chop House (meat meat and more meats), or Bistro Don Giovanni (high end, fancy), or Fume Bistro (more casual, but still upscale, the veal is awesome!)

Napa, CA
