How many smart forfours were sold?

Just out of curiosity how many of these cars were sold in the UK and world wide before being axed?

There are still a few unsold examples lurking in dealerships, so they are still showing up in the registration figures.

So far, there have been 9,312 registered in the UK, and 130,506 worldwide.
