I love the my child hood sweetheart and have done for the past 10 yrs! He worshipped the ground I walked on and maybe at the time I took advantage of him for this, we were in our early twenties, were together for five years and I knew he was my soul mate just at the wrong time, I wanted to experience life while he wanted to sit in front of tv after work every day. I've had a few relationships since we split (I finished it) but I know he is my only true love and I don't feel able to settle with anyone else. Very Sad and heartbreaking to be living in my shoes!

We have been together for 12 yrs but had our ups and downs and split up on 2 occasions through his infidelity.we split up for 2 years on that occasion and i even had another short relationship. But i ended that and 6 month later we got together for a christening for my best Friends baby as she wanted both of us to become her sons god parents who was being christened on the same day has her baby girl. That was 2 years ago and it can still be very hard at times but we do love each other and do everything to please each other and to make each other happy.Love changes over the course of a relationships years, but it does get stronger and closer although different to how it was in the beginning. We now have what most people dream of having in a relationship.CONTENTMENT.we go no were without each other and that's by choice. The proverbial dick n liddy.

No babe,
as an adult the longest I been in love was about 2 years,
but I'm not sure it was love tho, maybe just tolerance.

The longest I ever been in love was 7 years and that was when I was a Primary school from age 5 to 12 her name was Emma.
Very pretty little girl.

I'm still very much in love with the same person I was in love with 10 years ago! (If not more in love).

Sadly no, (very recent break up) and I truly thought it was forever. So after one broken engagement and a beautiful little boy I am starting again. On the brightside I believe there is someone for me, I'm just still a little shaky on the 'forever' thing, I hope so, I do believe in true love.
