Hi!You've taken me many many years back... we had a beautiful big house with 14 mango trees 2 gooseberry trees ,a guava tree,a wild fig tree ,a jackfruit tree and another one whose fruit had a cute name which i've forgotten!
We had a silk cotton tree too which ofcourse we never attempted climbing but were always on the prowl to get the most number of pods!!!
We were a bunch of cousins always climbing trees and plucking fruit and god were the stolen mangoes of our neighbour's lone tree sweetest in the world....
It was a lovely time..never forgotten..

Yeah. We called it scrumping. Mainly apples, but I remember a nice plum tree too. Had to be careful of all the wasps around the plums. Many the time ate the apples and had a tummy ache. Used to light a fire on waste ground and stew apples and blackberries in an old tin can.No sugar so it was pretty vile.

All the time. We climbed and picked green apples then sat on the ground, with a salt shaker, and ate them until we got sick. I also remember picking cherries after climing the tree. I had to fight the birds for the cherries.

Yeah i climed trees but there was not any fruit around. Now we have figs and a pear tree.

Most certainly I DID AND GOT BUSTED DOING THAT A FEW TIMES TOO.
Way weird,because my own father worked at the police himself.
I think,they were out to scare me:did it help??

yep, many times. we had a peach tree in our back yard, and the neighbors had apple trees and cherry trees that we would climb and gorge ourselves on. neat memories. have a star!

yes i did.. all the time (climb trees) their was a big tree at a park by my house my freidns and i would climb on everyday... i loved that tree till they cut it down :(

No, both sets of grandparents used to have gardens when I was a child and I would always grab the cherry tomatoes and strawberries.
