Oh this one will go down in history as one of the worst pack of lies that ever went to print . Look for many more to be exposed in the next day or two . I'm hoping the publishing company withdraws their contract and stops printing the book .

EDIT* - I think what some are missing is that Tenet said he vividly remembers it was 9/12/2001 , and puts GREAT emphasis on the fact that it was only one day after 9-11-2001 . Thus making it 'appear' to be more of an outrage . Ahhhhh, when the truth gets exposed , it changes everything , now doesn't it !!

Long-time Washington cold warrior Richard N. Perle is a man of many hats: Pentagon policy adviser (resigned February 2004), former Likud policy adviser, media manager, international investor, op-ed writer, talk show guest, think tank expert, and ardent supporter of the war in Iraq.

Known in Washington circles as "The Prince of Darkness," Perle is associated with the American Enterprise Institute and the Project for the New American Century, both of which have been prominent behind-the-scenes architects of the Bush administration's foreign policy, in particular its push for war with Iraq.

He is closely allied with former Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Dundes Wolfowitz, another Iraq hawk. Perle is also a vocal supporter of Israel and a critic of Saudi Arabia. Perle is on the Advisory Board of the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA), and is a former chairman of the Defense Policy Board, a Defense Department advisory group composed primarily of former government officials, retired military officers, and academics.

Why couldn't conversation have taken place on September 16, after Perle was back in the US? Tenet could have been off a couple of days, not unreasonable considering the post 9/11 confusion.

Tenet could have been wrong about the exact date of the conversation. There is no question Perle and others pushed for a war on Iraq within days of September 11, 2001.

It's okay for Tenent to have his days mixed up--and not recall with exact certainty. He is bashing the White House. So he can get a pass. Scooter Libby was crucified for not recalling the exact date of a insignificant conversation (insignificant because everyone already knew who Plame was!)

Why didn't I hear about this from CNN! I'm gonna have to object. They always report the whole Story, don't they? I'm gonna have to see about their honesty, here.

Isn't it interesting that virtually everyone who leaves the administration of our beloved Idiot King has nothing good to say about their time served, and yet they're attacked as being liars and traitors by those who formerly commended their work?

Once again, the 'bots fail to use their God-given perception and go with their party line. How unfortunate.
