"The end of the world" by Nina Gordon. You wonder what was going through the writers mind when they wrote this lonely, hopeless song.

Alissya Lies by Jason Michael Carroll.
Its about a little girl who gets abused by her family.Alissya goes to school and has bruises on her and when the teachers asks her what happened she lies to them.So after a while Alissya friend tells her dad about Alissyas lies and the father has to find a solution to this problem and explain all this to his daughter about why Alissysa wont tell anyone ,so he decides to go to the school and inform them of what is going on with Alissya
but when he gets there he hears the news that Alissya would not be in school today.Cause she doesnt lie in the classroom, she doesnt lie anymore at school ,Alissya lies with Jesus because theres nothing that anyone could do.

There's lots of songs that affect me in a deep way, but they arent really sad, however, in 1975 I have this record by Tanya Tucker called "Spring", that is just the saddest song I think I ever heard. About a pregnant woman, very poor gives birth and struggles to raise her little girl who goes to an orphanage after her mom dies, its a song to listen to rather than explain.

There are many...

"Separate Lives" by Phil Collins. Very sad song about moving on in a relationship and how hard it is to do.

"Forgiveness" by Don Henley. Very sad about a broken relationship and wishing the other person well.

"I can't make you love me" by Bonnie Raitt.

I don't like her music that much, but this song makes me sad. We've all been with someone who you know is with you but does not love you.

Another song, "My Favorite Mistake" by Sheryl Crow. Again, a song where someone is with you, but does not love you.

Brothers... but I prefer the Russian version, Bratja- O.S.T. Fullmetal Alchemist. the Russian version sounds more heart peircing but they have the same meaning. The older brother apologizing to his younger brother for leading him to such a sad and rather dangerous life after losing their mother.
Oh yeah... there is also this song called skin by rascall flatts. It's about a girl named Sara Beth who is having a battle with cancer.
This is my number 1 saddest song... soldier by the dixie chicks... it's about a girl who is waiting for her love, the soldier assigned in Vietnam.
