I wouldn't call them gullible, but the most vulnerable is certainly the elderly. There are predators out there who do nothing but target them. My mother-in-law is 89 years old, and she has been the target of so-called "lotteries" promising her that if she sends them money, she will be given millions of dollars. She carries checks around from them, thinking they are real, when they aren't, but she can't bring herself to believe that these people would do something like this, no matter how much we all try to convince her. We've had her talk to the postmaster general, I've gotten materials from the attorney general's office, nothing works, because she has too much faith in the goodness of people, so these nice people wouldn't do this to her. Another friend of ours read the National Enquirer, etc. religiously, and believed every word, because no one would be so awful as to make up stories like those.

There is no group or label of gullible people. Naivety makes people gullible. Not certain society groups. That's all.

Older people. I mean like way older people, like 75+.
Many of them just don't get a lot of today's technology. They don't understand that a business/person doesn't necessarily care about their reputation, and that "legal" is not the same as "right." They will pay bills just because they are sent and never question them. They have a morbid fear of "getting in trouble" and often will not rock the proverbial boat even when they clearly see something is not right. It's not because they are stupid or anything like that. They expect the world to be conducted by a higher standard that just doesn't exist anymore, and are often taken advantage of because of that.

The lazy low-down uneducated self-victimizing misfits that absorb every bit of propaganda that they hear like obedient zombies as they sit in front of their $2000.00 and up entertainment systems watching the mainstream media monsters convey pure garbage over the air waves, cables, and satellite systems courtesy of the educated hard working tax payers that are forced to do so by totally corrupt politicians;(
