Hi. Can anyone give me some advice about where to buy in Turkey for good investment returns. Is Bodrum best or are there other areas I should look at. This is my first investment in property - I have been priced out of the market here in Northern Ireland. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You do not have to be jarful in Turkey. But you do have to be smart about who you conduct your business with.

The best places to invest would be:
Izmir
Kusadesi
Bodrum (although inflated prices here already)
Antalya (lots of Russians, rent for summer)

You do need to make your Due Diligence and investigate the areas. I will be doing this in about 3-4 years as my wife is Turkish. Find someone there and build a relationship with them. This is how business is done in Turkey. Then once you have trust between you, that person will find the best deals for you.
