I have a great picture of myself standing with John Lennon - not the real deal - we took it at Madame Tussaud's. Also have good pictures of Bob Dylan, James Dean, Mick Jagger and Muhammed Ali. Lovely place, but admission is more than $30 - so I don't plan on going back there anytime soon.

Not a problem at all.
Look out for the Japanese photographer. She is made of wax as well, and tricks into everyone "ducking" until we realize she is not for real :)

Yep for sure you can, it gets very busy with tourist in the afternoon time, so try going in the morning.
Best to try and book tickets in advance too...

Yes! In fact, the statues are posed and out in the open so you can have your picture taken with them.
