I think there are two good reasons.

1. You quit your boss: It's not the job you're leaving, you're leaving management. People get tired of a poorly-run, unorganized organization. A boss who is an idiot, disrespectful, impolite, or otherwise unable to use you to your full ability makes more people want to quit than any other reason. My wife quit her job not too long ago because of her boss. Not the money, not the hours or the type of work, but the guy in charge was a moron.

2. Fulfillment: You should love, or at least enjoy what you're doing. If you don't care about work, and you only go because of a paycheck, that's not going to be enough to get you through 30 years of service at a place. Some people quit because they simply hate what they're doing. Again, not so much the money, but they are not emotionally and intellectually fulfilled at the workplace.

But that's just me.

Ideal reason for quitting a job? Winning the lottery.

>> continually putting me down for no longer doing issues their way . . . each and every boss you may have for something else of your existence will want it finished his/her way, till you've sufficient journey to make a resounding case for your way. If somebody else is doing issues their way, the first time, they are going to love him/her more advantageous positive. Favoritism is even as 2 human beings do a similar element a similar way yet one receives complimented or a more advantageous positive shift because she is prettier or he's a nephew or something like that. common courtesy demands you provide them 2 week's observe. in case you factor out them on a resume, use a impartial reason behind quitting, like "dedicate more advantageous time to my analyze". once you graduate from college with a BS in Civil Engineering, your resume might want to have a line "diverse after-college jobs", which will be all you want say about it.
