She is only using this as an excuse to do what she has wanted to do all along. Either that, or she has an underlying mental condition that should be addressed--maybe she is bipolar?

If you love her and want to remain with her, I suggest that you take her to her doctor and explain the problem fully and concisely to him.

My sister-in-law used to be a wonderful, funny, normal person until she decided that the electrical wiring in the walls of her apartment, and in most appliances, was draining all of her energy. She started unplugging all appliances (yes even that full fridge) from their outlets, and blocking off the outlets with sprayed in whipped cream (because it foamed up) and taping them all off with duct tape. But that still left the plugs exposed that could be used to drain her energy directly, so she cut those off (right where they emerged from the appliance). THEN she decided that it would be safer if the floor was covered by a couple of inches of water to act as an insulation to cosmic rays....

You get the idea. This was only one day in the life of my used to be normal sister-in-law. She was eventually forced to obtain treatment by the police instead of going to jail, when she stopped her vehicle in the middle lane of a superhighway during rush hour, because she was tired. She had crawled into the back seat to nap when the police found her. Instead of taking her to jail, they took her to the closest hospital with a mental health unit.

You get my point, I am sure...unreasoning beliefs are often a symptom of an underlying mental condition like bipolar disorder. I suggest that you get help for your girlfriend before the condition escalates and she becomes unable to function in a normal world.

Maybe she is a victim of a crime and you don't know it? I would talk to her and find out her reason if she refuses to open up and still will not be intimate with you then it may be time to move on. You may not only be about sex but you are not expected to live without forever either.

ermmmmm shes refused after reading a book on crime?? err ok..................hun Im lost with this one!
Maybe you need to take her to get her head checked out!!!
Thats the weirdest excuse Ive EVER heard in my life!!!
Maybe you should just tell her that you have physical requirements and she should realise by now that you'er not some creepy perv - you're her boyfriend and she needs to start acting like she loves you and stop reading so much into crime novels!!
I wish you luck with this one!
xx

Be patient and reasssuring. Are you sure it's not part of the post natal depression? She might need some kind of therapy since this has been going on for 2 years. Or is it an excuse for something else?

I cant believe reading true crime books has put her off sex. There is another reason. You need to look more closely at your relationship and her behavior in other matters.

She either has an STD she doesn't want to pass on to you, or she can't bear having sex with you anymore - either way, find yourself another gf and don't end up like me thinking being denied sex during courtship was a sign of chastity - bollocks!

I think something else has happened and she is just using that as an excuse. It's possible she may be seeing someone else or she is no longer interested in you. If she has made no effort to compromise or discuss her true issues, then it's time for you to move on.

i think she is turned off by your obsession with sex crime books, what do get by reading those and showing her that sort of stuff, maybe she thinks your a weirdo or something, or tell her that you love her, that always seems to work...
