A weight loss of 1-2 lbs per week is a healthy way to lose weight. So the 11 lbs should take you approximately 11 weeks ( 1lb/wk) or 51/2 wks ( 2lbs/wk)

If you have an underactive thyroid, you may or may not lose with the exercise. It all depends on if your thyroid levels are right. If the morning TSH is over 2.0, weight loss will be almost impossible. Know your levels and learn as much as you can about hypothyroidism
