If they are angry with you, then dont try to impress them.
Just talk to them, apologise to them if you need to. The only thing that will impress them is if you face up to what you did wrong (I;m guessing thats why they're angry with you)

impress someone........why would you want to?
putting up a superficial front, is nothing than that of a level of "being fake", is it not?
just be yourself, explain your side of the situation, truthfull, and let well enough alone. All will work out for the best, this way, would you not agree?

When someone is angry on me, I usually just roll them off....so they can be angry somewhere else....
