Match Point tells the story of Chris, an ambitious young tennis coach who wants to move up in the world. He befriends one of his students, Tom, who comes from a wealthy background, and uses the connection to get involved with Tom's sister. This connection in turn allows him to get employed by their father, who is very wealthy indeed. Chris tries to sustain the relationship with the girl, even though he doesn't love her, in order to cement his relationship with the family. They marry, but along the way Chris meets and falls in love with Nola, Tom's ex-girlfriend, a struggling actress. He then has to deal with the difficulties of keeping his affair with Nola from his wife. I won't spoil it for you by telling you what happens later, but there's a pregnancy and a murder.
It's actually a very good film, and I recommend it.

main guy, lets call him john,is a tennis instructor ..he makes friends with his client, tom ..he meets tom's sister, lets call her jen ..john and jen like each other ..however scarlet, who is tom's fiance, is a sexy american girl that john also likes ..likes her more than jen but dates her because he can't date scarlet ..however john and scarlet have a secret affair but never pursued each other ..then scarlet and tom break off their engagement ..but by that time john already married jen ..so john bumps into scarlet and they have an affair ..and suddenly scarlet gets pregnant with his baby and asks john to leave jen ..john says that he would but cannot tell his wife or leave the lifestyle he has ..so he gets a shotgun ..goes to scarlet's apartment complex before she gets home from work ..he knocks on an old lady's door that lives in the same complex and shoots her ..makes it seem like he robbed her ..then he waits for scarlet to come up the stair to her apartment and shoots her dead ..he made it seem like it was a robbery ..even though police suspected him ..he got away ..sucks but a good ending ...

This fool above me gave a horrible explanation anyways you should see for yourself but its a great movie & the ending is well basically all you need to know is its worth renting!
