if 1+1=?1so if x=1 then x+x=2x
and because x=1 then Multiply by it not doing any thing
so x(x+x)=x*1>>>because x=1
x^2+x^2=?x
>>2x^2=?x
devide by x then
2x=1
and 2*1=1 so 1=1 ? what is The Mathmatics Error?

You go from x+x = 2x and multiply on the left by x to get
x(x+x) = x*1.
This should be x*2 on the right, which would leave you with 2x^2 = 2x and hence 2x = 2.

See if you can pick the mathematical error in this one. When I first saw your question I thought it was going to be along similar lines to this...
If x = 1 then x + 1 = 2x = 2
and so x(x+1) = 2x = 2 (since x = 1).
So x^2 + x = 2
and so 2x^2 + x = x^2 + 2 (adding x^2 to both sides)
and so 2x^2 - 2 = x^2 - x
hence 2x(x-1) = x(x-1)
Dividing by x-1 we get 2x = x, and since x = 1 this implies 2 = 1!

ALL WRONG
1+1=2
X=1 THEN X+X=2X
X(X+X)=X*2 NOT X*1

it wont be x(x+x)=x*1
it'll be, x(x+x) = 2x*1
[because, x+x = 2x (as u previously stated)]

so, 2x^2 = 2x
=> 2 = 2

" so x(x+x)=x*1>>>because x=1 "

No. If x=1 then x(x+x) would equal 1(1+1) or 1(2).

Although i don't understand why there are question marks everywhere in your equations :S

x+x=2x
x(x+x)=x*1 !!!!!!!!!!
where did the two w/ the x go
x(x+x)=2x*1
2x^2=2x
2x=2
2(1)=2
OR x=1
