Let me tell why I got married. I actually believed that marriages restricts an individuals freedom. I never wanted to commit myself and was unconsciously afraid of the responsibilities. However, as time passed, I realized that I require a partner, one that could always be by my side, be committed to me. But such relationships have to be mutual. So I decided to get married. Besides, I simply couldn't think of myself without that girl...

Marriages mean that you are socially declaring out that you will be committed to the person, under all the circumstances. Everyone needs a partner, and everyone has to commit himself/herself to find one.

All the best...

:-)

Two individuals marry for too many reasons to count. 3 billion people on the planet and you want to know why two people marry? Good question.

What causes those two people to marry may be an even better one. Which two people are we talking about or should I just randomize?

Okay. About the two I'm thinking about, the man married for diginity (her highest esteem and regard of him) and the woman married for respect (his admiration and good opinion of her). Based on these two reasons, dignity and respect, they vowed to love and honour one another until death.

If it is affecting morale the senior person needs to speak to your boss or human resources. Of course I wonder how an affairbetween consenting adults that doesn't involve anyone else, neither are married to someone else in the office are they, could cause this much trouble.

It is the next step in a relationship, kind of like a validation of one's love for oneanother, It took us 5 years to finally commit, and things have been WAY BETTER, I don;t know why, we barely argue anymore, maybe it is knowing that you will always have someone to come home to, you have some one to love you no matter what, you don't have to worry about impressing one another, you love each other unconditionally, to have and to hold and to cherish for the rest of your lives, people marry because they are in love and they know that they want to spend the rest of their life with someone!!

Legal, social & religious status of being married as husband & wife. Allows them freedom to bear legitimate children. Give the legal rights of inheritance, maintenance & other matrimonial & family obligations. Allows them to lead moral & healthy sexual life. Last but not the least they have someone waiting for them till his/her last breath, which you can say true love!

Physique atraction, and the need to be near each other the most time which is possible due to strong identity affinity, and, of course, love each other.

Well, there is nothing natural about marriage. People do it because it is a social construct. It's just tradition. It does have it's purposes, but none of them have to do with love or god like we're to believe.
