Dont only down load anti virus, also down load malware and spy ware scanners.like all programs they must up to date,
The programes from the other answers are good for virus's Try Spybot, with spy blaster running shotgun. Adaware se ,A- squared all are free down loads and have free updates. and scan you computer regularly.
