What ever you do don't embarrass the child by acting like an idiot at the games. Too many parents start to take the game so seriously that the child can not even enjoy it.

Bring drinks and healthy snacks for the children. Have morale boosting parties for the children. Volunteer for fund raiser for uniforms and equipment. Volunteer to be assistant to the coach.

Just by showing up means a lot to your son. My father went to all of my games and just by seeing him in the stands made me feel great. Something you could do on your own time might be taking your son to the cages or helping him with his defense by maybe hitting him grounders or pop flys at a baseball field.

Ask the coach if you can help with hitting,get aT and as the kids come up on deck have them hit balls of the T in to the fence away from home plate as far as possible.You may have to have the player thats in the hole instead of the on deck batter hitting,so the on deck batter is ready when its their turn at bat

volunteer bro in practices talk to the coach think about this your his #1 fan so being on the side lines is not a bad thing when he is older he will always look at u and say now what dad what should i do throw him a sign hit it in between 2ND and 3rd one more thing right elbow down left elbow up & time the picth you get a faster swing

you can help your child out by bringing drinks and little snacks bring them for ice cream after the game or ask the coach to help out
