preaching has become just another "big business"?
after all ,these days it seems that preachers are just after your money instead of actually conveying the bible.

I agree~~send your money to legitimate charities not some fat cat with a mansion and a limo and driver. They promise salvation but would take the last nickel of a dying widow! The Bible Belt is hoodwinked into believing that televangalists are really talking to God! Remember what happened to the followers of Jim Jones!

it depends on where you go. some churches have a "requirement" for what they think is acceptable for tithes and offerings but there are alot of churches in my area that actually have alot of positive things that they do and the preachers are not money hungry.. those things on tv though... how can your preach something and then ask for a hundred dollars..

i don't know. they are a lot more polite then they used to be.
the door knockers i get now are really friendly and cool.

"hello I'm blah blah from blah blah and i'd like to talk to you about blah blah"
"no thanks man, i'm not into that sh*t, have a nice day though"
"alright, have a nice afternoon"

where as before they'd try to barge into the house and barr the door with their feet "YOU WILL JOIN MY FAITH OR SATAN WILL EAT YOUR YOUNG!!"
