glue needs air (oxygen) to activate.

Cause they use a plastic that the glue won't stick to, or an aluminum type product for other types of glue which are made for sticking plastic together. If you look at the instructions on the glue they will often say what they work on and what they don't - so they make the bottles from something the glue won't work on.
Also, the glue needs air to dry - at least it seems to and thats why it can dry up inside a bottle once the bottle has been opened.

Because the moisture in the glue is not allowed to escape. The glue may dry out a little bit, but not much. Actually, the glue does stick to the walls of it's container. The velocity of a fluid at the wall is always zero.

Because most glues are still wet when they are inside a closed container. Once exposed to air they are made to dry quickly and "set". Ever notice the hard crust/film on top of the glue bottle. That's dried up glue.

It sticks as it drys and it only drys when exposed to the air. The small amount of air in the bottle can not draw enough moisture from the glue to dry it out.
