Manners have become a forgotten thing?
[It really irritates me to see so many people not use their manners. It doesn't take a lot of effort to use them and they don't cost you anything. Go on, tell people "thank you", "you're welcome", say "excuse me" and "please".

And before you start with the wise guy comments....Please don't bother. I don't really think they are appropriate. Thanks.

I am NOT saying that everyone has forgotten how to use their manners. I am just saying that there are SO many people who lack common courtesy.

I still will hold a door open for people even if theyr'e a few steps away, always say please thank you and your welcome, just the way people are raised,if theyr'e not taught manners they'll never have manners.

It would be nice if chivalry could return. We had a training at work that you could get nailed for sexual harassment simply by opening a door for a woman. That is going a bit too far....

i agree, so many do not use any common manners, as if their parents never taught them anything, growing up. or, they were taught, but just choose not to use them? who knows? thank you, tho, for bringing this up!

Good question... I agree, some people just don't give a hoot. I always say those things, that's how good my mother taught me. I love to be polite.
