You might've heard this before, but talk to him. Have you ever tried working things out with him? Sat down and tell him how you feel? I don't know...only you know what goes around. I really hope you two work it out. As least try, because you'll know you tried. Good luck, girl. Peace!

So, I just read your additional info. Well, that's some crazy a** things he has done. Karma will find it's way through this. Don't worry about it. Take care, girl.

I had an evil Mother and wasn't wanted by her. But I didn't celebrate her dying. I just thought about how I felt sorry that she never knew how much she had hurt those around her.

Drinking a couple of beers and pissing on the grave is always good...
If there's going to be so many partygoers as you say you might even organize a conga line!

It would help to know what he did. It's not your fault, you were placed in a family so you could simply have some one to help you until you were mature enough to help yourself. People shouldn't expect you to love some one you didn't choose. People choose some one they "love" by getting married, but then later say they hate the person. Those are the people who should be told "You know deep down you love him" Because they chose the person, unlike your parents.

I don't know your Dad and hope you're exaggerating his being an evil person, but either way, if you were to actually celebrate his death, there's something about your own character that's not so good. Think about it.

evil or not, that is your father, and you call him dad, so there must be some connection there. maybe instead of waiting for him to die, you could write him a letter and tell him how it hurts you that he is so mean. maybe you can make him see how he is hurting people and get a chance to love your father instead of hating him, before he is gone because then it will be too late.

Critical situation!
You may thank god for calling him back but I don't think there is any opportunity for celebration !!

Most important mater is you have failed to understand your father - think again - he may not be that bad or not even bad at all !!

How about just getting on with your life now. Don't dwell on the evil in your past. You are being hurt, not him.

Sorry, but he's still your dad. My dad and I weren't very close, but when he passed away last September, not a day goes by that I don't think about or miss him.

Put aside your differences, especially now. Life is too short.

that is a very hard question to answer. Because it is not explaining the reason why .You should not carry any hate in your heart. You should pity him that he did not go and get help for himself.l
