You don't have to-I didn't in the past 2 elections, but I am this time, because I am inspired by the changes Obama wants to make.

Because the constitution was set up that way. Some of our "forefathers" wanted to set it up so that the Elected Representatives (congress) do the actual voting, with no "popular" vote. How do you think we got the "Electoral College"?

As for global warming, yeah, we have global warming, but whether or not it's "man-made" is what is at issue. Personally, we have recorded weather stats back only about 200 years... but tree-ring and iceberg "sampling" can go back thousands. These show periodic warming/cooling trends over earth's long history. How can the current warming trend be blamed on mankind when such occurrences have happened time and time again without "modern mankind" being present to influence the earth's ecology? Sorry, but I don't buy into the "manmade" aspect of the current situation. Insufficient HARD evidence for it.

In Australia I think it is mandatory that every one has to vote but not in the U.S. I consider it a privilege. Sure I believe in global warming, as much as I believe in global cooling. By asking do I believe in global warming are you really asking do I believe that man is causing the earth to grow so warm so fast that the earth will be destroyed in the next 100 years as Al Gore preaches? Hell no I am not that stupid. lol Funny that this past winter two of their very important global warming seminars had to be canceled because of heavy snow. Also funny that they never mention the sun as a possible contributor to global warming. No the earth is a marvelous creation it has a built in cleaning system! I am not saying that it's not a good idea to not pollute I just think the earth is more powerful then we are. Remember the same ones who are saying global warming is caused by evil people driving big pick ups and suv's also said in the late 70's early 80's that the ocean would be dead by the year 2000. You can google Ted Danson's 1980 quote and you will see he said that. So CHEERS Ted the ocean is still alive and thriving!

Yes I do!

It should be painfully obvious to most. I live in a snow state where people come to ski. We got our first snowfall on February 14th.

When Florida is underwater, most non-believers will change their minds. Ironically, many will still say there is no such thing.

Global warming is easy and I don't know why people have a problem with how it occurs.

Carbon Dioxide builds up in the atmosphere (because of pollution and destruction of trees and forests which are no longer able to convert it into oxygen) and has a unique effect. because of the length of the rays, Carbon Dioxide allows ALL sunlight in, but only some heat out, thus the greenhouse effect!

You don't "have to" vote for the president. Its your choice but if your unhappy with the results, don't whine about it.

And global warming is a whole other topic.
