Do both, change your avatar and get a image you really want as an avatar. Just get a 360 page, add a picture then make it your avatar on both your 360 page and Y/A. Switch from different avatars from time to time. Just changed mine.

I was planning to ask the same question.....I recommend using an image instead of the cartoon because with an image its much more personal than a cartoon....to add a picture make a yahoo 360 and then view your page and it will say somewhere on the top left corner edit photos, click that then choose a picture and set it as primary

Try to redo the Yahoo avatar one. I've been seeing a lot of new options based on other peoples. Including facial expressions and backgrounds.

if you want to use a picture I can't help you there because I myself don't know. for the cartoon one just go to avatar edit and cllick on it and hit apparance and choose, and go down the list . good luck it won't take that long to do, I do it all the time I am on my 10 one already.

make a 360 account and add your photo there. then you can add it here in the edit my info section.
