i dont think age matters they are all good despite their age. yeah they may not be as quick as they used to be they still have great technique and ability. anyone who says their too old are just jealous of their experience and skills. they have proven it throughout and that is why they are in the semifinal.

One of the disadvantage of being a... (let's be kind) veteran team is that you "come out of the blocks a little slow". As evidenced this year in Serie A Milan was mediocre at the beginning of the season.

Two advantages of being a "veteran: team is that 1.) it's hard to rattle a team that has seen as many ups and downs as Milan collectively has and 2.) If you can get some momentum and the "veterans" play back into shape, then a team with this much championship experience can really put together something beautiful. Ask the young, fresh faced and enthusiastic Man U how old the Rossaneri are.

And Milan eliminates Man U by 3-0 at San Siro.

i think only maldini, inzaghi, dida, cafu should be retired.

the rest still have a couple of years.

the reason why they are still in the first team is cos they're still performing and the 'so-called' replacements are not as good.

MAN U will still win the champ.lig!!!!!!!!!

AC Milan can get away with that because they are in Italy where they just need to score 1 goal to win. They are full of veterens but could barely get past Celtic and will lose against Manchester United.

yes they are, but they're also some of the best players in the world, so how could milan let them go? anyway, their age is a real big problem, because they get tired soon. that's why milan's looking for some new good players all around europe and world.

for man u: milan's gonna kick your ***! la parola è una sola: vincere, e vinceremo!!! lol :D

they have experience..just like france team in WC '06...ppl said the same thing..that thurram is old....n blah blah
but they made it to the finals..and put up a really good fight..
who cares about the age ??
maldini went off just bcoz of his knee injury..which swells again..
and inzaghi..he is the MOST prolific striker...man utd,liverpool,chelsea...any of these semi-finalists lacks such quality striker...37 goals in CL...
@robert...yeah just like man utd BARELY get pass lille..

Those old men are in the semi-final for the CL and will be going to the final based on their skill and experience... what's your point?
