It is sad that we spend millions or billions of dollars to bring companies over here to build factories and after a few years they close up and move operations to other lands in the name of cheap labor. I call HP, Compaq, many companies and I see that they even farm out their tech support to other lands who can't speak good English and for the most part are rude, and after repeating yourself a number of times it's frustrating and to a greater degree non productive. I say if they can't keep companies in the USA then we shouldn't spend money to buy their products. Many aliens come to this country start a business which the USA funds, they pay no taxes for five years and then near the five year period sign the business over to a relative so they can run it again for another five years and not pay taxes. That needs to be stopped as it's hurtful to the American people and it's cheating us of their taxes.

Get this, I went to a Chinese restaurant night before last
and the "Genuine Chinese Soy Sauce" was made in
Minnesota. I wish that were true of more American products.

But there is Mom's homemade apple pie,
Smuckers Jam, Mississippi lumber and cardboard boxes.
That's a little bit sarcastic and I'm sure there are plenty of
other things, such as guitars, candies, furniture, tires,,,
yet even in these, a portion is made overseas,,,such as
packaging, labels, etc.

It is sad.

Owens Corning Pink Panther fiberglass is still made here in America. But the Global Warming Fanatics are trying to shut down the plant.
So who knows if it's here to stay.
If they succeed in closing it down my husband will just have to find another job or maybe we'l starve to death.
Who knows?

American flags are still made in America for the most part, because those who buy them are generally patriotic. So in 10 years we'll all be working in American flag factories or move to China.
