Donate a church? Or donate to a church? I'd say you need a congregation first, then do a little fund raising through them.

If you need a church, remember a church is not a building, it's the people. You can meet in a park, a field, catecombs, anywhere you share your faith-no fancy building needed. And you know what? God doesn't care either!

Go to www.foundationcenter.org and start looking up grants for capital campaigns. However, generally, most groups won't give to churches. Generally, a capital campaign starts with the people on the inside first. You should start raising money from the people who go there. Go to the wealthiest members and ask them for challenge gifts, that they'll agree to give a certain amount if other people match them dollar-for-dollar. Get them to give it up front, though, and "Challenge" other people to do the same.
