Not if you have some suicide pills at hand. Like the other people said, it probably doesn't hurt just to die. But hold on let me check...

My cousin was drowning in a churn while kayaking... He fought for 10 minutes before anyone could get to him and they had to do CPR on him to revive him.
He said the dying part didn't hurt, it was the struggling to stay alive that was agonizing.

Well, I think that would largely depend on how you die. If you get attacked by a bull, I'm thinkin' yeah, I imagine it would hurt. But if you're sky diving and your chute doesn't open, I don't think you'd feel a thing.

Well, I died twice on the operating table. I have to say, it wasn't painful. Waking up on a ventilator was a different story though!
