I can be there. It'll take me a few hours after dawn here to cross the Pond. No, I really never quite get freaked out coming home after horror films. A concealed handgun license and a .45 ACP do woneders for confidence at home. Maybe if my home was the only one with an electrical outage, I might start getting nervous. But as long as the dog greets me when I open the door and doesn't alert me, I'm pretty comfotable. D

Horror movies are best watched at night with the lights off. I've watched plenty of horror movies alone in the dark myself. There are quite a few Asian horror flicks that i LOVE cuz it freaked me out a little bit. Haha. I am a horror flick fan!!
Just rented one of those "Afterdark Horrorfest" and gonna watch it soon in the dark . . hope it's scary!!!

I feel for the person who posted before me. I watched The Descent at 1:00 in a dark room all alone. Oh god.

I usually have too...my wife hates horror films, and it's hard to get the guys together as regularly anymore. Actually, they are scarier to me when my wife caves and watches them with me, because she buys into it. But I'll watch them for amusement any old time.

Ah man, the first time I watched "The Exorcist" home alone as a kid I thought I was gonna be scared, but it actually was hilariously funny once you tell yourself it's only a movie.

No...they scare the hell outta me.
When I saw the ring and that girl crawled through the TV screen in the film, I honestly felt as though she was gonna crawl through my screen as well, i just turned off the blasted thing.

Of course. How can one truly appreciate the accomplishments of some of our greatest horror movies like "The Shining" when there is someone yapping over your shoulder?
