Not always but sometimes.
Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad.
For example: My soon-to-be-ex-husband and I are total opposites. He is very dark in personality and I am very light and bubbly = BAD.
My current bf is kind-hearted and is opposite in looks (I am very white, he, very dark) = GOOD.
Stay away from people who have opposite values and opposite views on life...it is intriguing at first, then it becomes bad. They (and you) learn to hate the differences that you once loved.

yes if you can accept the fact that the other person is an opposite of you...possibly in interests and in manerisms.

Also, you have four harmonious signs to your astrological sign. I couldn't believe what a coincidence it was to find that all my close friends, best girlfriends in the past and good people I work with are all in my four harmonius signs (I'm an aries so: gemini, aquarius, leo, sagitarius, my opposite is libra and I get along great with them too).

If you are a neat freak, every ones dirt will drive you insane.
There opposites don't attract.

If you hate cooking, and you Find somebody who loves to cook, opposites attract.

It really depends on what the situation is.

I would say so. One of my friends said she and her husband are opposites. But it wouldn't apply to every relationship because everyone is different.

The best example I can give you that this is a truism, is my VERY long marriage to a man, that causes me to sometimes think....'what could you have been thinking?'
