I always shop barefoot, but I rarely if ever see anyone else do so. It's not nasty or dangerous at all, nor are there any health laws requiring shoes in stores. Walmart is one of the stores I know for a fact doesn't have a corporate anti-barefoot policy either, although local managers may or may not set one. But members in some states have even received apologies from Walmart management after being asked to leave for being barefoot.

I personally know more guys who go barefoot in public, but others keep claiming women are more likely to go barefoot so I really don't know. You're definitely not the only one though!

I'm a full time barefooter and do most of my shopping without shoes. I do everything without shoes including drive, work, and yesterday went hiking barefoot. I love the feeling of being barefoot and my feet have never been as healthy and strong since I took off my shoes. Everyone who thinks walking around barefoot is unsanitary, should read the New York Times article about where germs are found. The floors actually have less bacteria and germs than things touched by peoples hands. Whats worse is you touch your eyes, nose and mouth with your hands or grab a snack and eat it with your hands after being in contact with all the germs. My feet stay on the ground and I try not to lick them after walking around all day. Many benifits can be enjoyed by going barefoot. Try it.

we both know its looks a little gross.
but there is something fun about it. i go barefoot when ever i can. my boyfriend gets mad though he says it looks feral. i think females are more likely to do it. men always have closed in shoes on for some reason. even if its a pair of sneakers. women are more likely to wear thongs or sandals which are much easier to flick off.

I not in any respect have, in my opinion. after I worked at Wal-Mart, our save guard said that there grow to be a regulation that required each body getting into shops to placed on some variety of shoe. i do not comprehend if it grow to be a city regulation, a state regulation, or what, yet it truly is what he said. It did not count number number if it grow to be in basic terms the tiniest little turn flop between your foot and the floor---you had to have some variety of boots on your ft in case you had to bypass to a public position. He said he had to exhibit some human beings away on the door for no longer donning shoes.

Very unsanitary and gross. U don`t know what ur stepping on or into and it`s unappetizing to see in the food department.
For heaven sake, get a pair of thongs at the least, only cost a buck or so. Save the bare feet for home.

Occasionally I see people shopping in bare feet. It depends on where I am.

I go shopping in my bare feet all the time. I'm a woman.

Nope. That's dirty as hell. I've seen a girl with her hair all over unshaved, a single piece dress, no bra, and she was still wearing sandals at least.

nope, never seen anyone. usually most people abide by the whole "no shoes, no shirt, no service" rule. i will admit i have taken my foot out of my sandal real quick to stretch it, but never walked around like that.
