didn't ford issue a service bulletin concerning alternator wiring for these triton engines? check with dealer for recall status, they just need your VIN, though I am not sure if this bulletin was part of recall or not.

What kind of charge did you put on it. You should have left it on a trickle charge overnight. Maybe the battery is bad, or maybe it's the alternator that's bad but if you keep jumping it and trying to let the alternator fully charge the battery, you will pretty soon have a bad alternator.

I see the word (I) alot. have you checked the automatic belt tensioner for excessive play or wear. Also- look at the bottom side of the posative battery cable for a brown discoloration that comes from the cable being overheated. Then replace the whole cable & not just the end of the terminal.

Get a new Battery. It sounds like you may have some dead cells and they don't hold a charge.

go to autozone, checker for another alternator test.
if it still tests bad, find the volage regulator and test/replace that ,still bad- take the alternator off teh car and bench test it, if its STILL bad you have a serious electrical problem
