In an ideal world, it shouldn't be a consideration, and neither should economic status or gender or geography or activities, or anything other than some purely objective measure of academic potential. However, there is no purely objective measure of academic potential, and we don't live in a world in which everyone gets an equal chance. Therefore, most colleges make an effort to create a freshman class in which there is some variety and in which they try to give a range of people the chance to prove themselves. In today's world, I think it is important that all of these things are considered.

NO. no matter what race one is, if they qualify for the position, then they should be considered for admission. People have to get away from this race debate. Jesus was of dark skin and look how many of us look up to Him. We are all made in the image and likeness of God. So why are so many people taking race in consideration for anything. If anyone qualifies, then they deserve the job, or admissions to schools and everything else. When will we learn, skin color, or eye shapes or anything makes a difference. We all look the same under the skin.

No. It is not a consideration. Good results and a good cca track record are essential for admission.

It shouldn't be, cause of course it's racist and wrong
if you want to admitted to a college you want to be admitted because of your knowledge, and not get accepted or put down just because of your race
sadly some schools choose more of specific kind of race each year..
