Answer to question: I've never been on a cruise, but ships can be fun.
My question: Did you pull a Michael Jackson? You used to be black, didn't you?!

Came rather late to it but now love cruising(ships that is!). However, if you are thinking of doing it, it is a bit like holidaying in a place that suits you. Some cruises are more appropriate to people of my age, whilst others have a much younger client base (not to say that we are boring!). You can describe it in a couple of ways, either, as some people do, a superior "Butlins" at sea or, as a five star floating Hotel. For me, the attractions are, firstly, waking up each day in a new place (without having to unpack) and meeting new people. Remember, you can get good deals but they are likely to be either inside cabins or, cabins not well placed (best bet is always mid-ships if you have any doubts as to your sea worthiness!) so if you want to go, book early and get a good cabin (sorry, Stateroom!)

The closest thing to a ship I've ever been on is a ferry boat going across Chesapeake Bay and around the Statue of Liberty,(not on the same trip of course), but that was enough for me. I'd rather fly.

I have been on 4. Each to different places. It is the VERY best vacation you could ever imagine. It is not all that expensive, when you consider it includes your lodging food and entertainment, You only have to pay for your alcohol. Some cruise lines are even including that now. I'm going to go again!

I've been several times to Sweden (Gothenburg) and around Scandanavia, plus shorts cruises around Europe. Luckily I've got good sea legs and I love being on cruises - though not the overly formal cruises, I can't relax.

We did a Western Caribbean Cruise last year - the destinations, we thought were pretty poor (Ochos Rios - Jamaica; Grand Cayman; Cozumel - Mexico etc). But the shipboard life was excellent. We were lucky enough to have a really great bunch at our dinner table and the crew (who largely depend on tips for a living) were excellent and just couln't do enough to please. I recommend it!

I genuinely like it! once I get off a airplane in a clean us of a, it somewhat is extra relaxing and stimulating than all the computing gadget video games interior the international prepare. The ideas of all the places and persons I even have seen are what get me with the aid of all the chilly and wet days.

Have once done a "Blue cruise" near Turkye.
Great time, but all day on a boat is not my peace of cake at all.
Getting of the boat was:visiting islands, fishing, diving, swimming:all great.
