Yeah I assume I can, because I do it during the day if I choose to. And daylight is just as light as having the light on isn't it?

what is DO? well i like to DO reading with the light on, i like to DO drawing with the lights on. I like to DO writing with the light on, but sleeping is to be done with the lights off

Yup, in fact I prefer to do it with the lights on. There's less strain on the eyes that way. Otherwise you're doing it with just the light from the computer screen. Wait, we are talking about answering questions on Y!A, right?

Yeah I can and I do prefer to.....but I get very self conscious....so it is harder to enjoy. I worry about how I look. Fat bits etc. So mostly it is with the lights off or at least dimmed. It feels more flattering that way.

Lights on or off doesn't matter to me because i don't notice until the fluids has stopped flowing.
