No, because there is enough opportunity to be negative on this site. Remember the one who picked on your Best Answer? Any more would cause us all to just give it up. When it stops being "fun" it is all over. I can't count the days when I thought I'd just end it but then I remember my daily motto....

yeah it would so I would learn to ignore them and not give them any more stars. nanny nanny boo boo. And to the person who said that it does not affect your score it actually does. If you are chosen as best answer you will get the 10 points plush how ever many thumbs ups you got for that question (up to 50) so those thumbs ups are good things to give. The stars are just fun so your friends can go back and see who starred their questions.

I think things would get very ugly here! and fast! Can you imagine all the hate mail that people would be sending eachother? I seem to have a thumbs down fairy following me about at times. Oh well!

I bet there would be a lot fewer of them! Cowards! When I am doling out thumbs up and I come across an answer I don't like,I usually skip it...unless it's hidden because of so many t.downs...then I just have to check it out and almost always t.down it,too.

sometimes thumbs down are useful: you can show that you do not agree with the answer or that it has nothing to do with the question
but if you have thumbs down just for a birthday wish or writing down your nationality or a place you are from- I would like to know who that coward was !!!!!!!
not to have a revenge, but to know who needs sympathy for his /hers sick actions
