I'm going for an audition for a singing contest and I'm required to sing a song without music.Which song do you think would help showcase my vocals and pitchings?

Well what can you sing? Soprano, Alto, Bass.. To determine what song is going to be best for you to sing and showcase your true talent you must first think about what notes you can hit.

I would say Guardian Angel by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.. great song..

or..

Unchained Melody... it's a classic for a reason.

Good tenor song... shows good range, vocal quality, technique, and allows for ornamantation if you can do it.

Freddie's song in MY FAIR LADY-
'ON THE STREET WHERE YOU LIVE'.

It centers between art song, musical theater, operetta, and opera.
