Yes of course. Especially if the criminal is a minority. With the Duke lacrosse team, they (the liberal media) wouldn't defend the lacrosse team because they were rich and white. They hung 'em out to dry if you remember correctly despite the fact that guys like Hannity and Limbaugh were saying that they looked to be innocent right from the get go. Not to mention the fact they they are intentionally not talking about the fact that Iraq now has one of the worlds fastest growing economies...It doesn't fit there agenda.

If your speaking of people being charged with a crime, only because they were accused, then I don't agree with you. In most cases, it's become prooveing innocence rather than being prooved guilty.Just being accused can be life destroying. My ex was treated like the "poor ettle victim and my children and I suffered due to her greed and desire to be felt sorry for. But if your talking about some low-life that randomly chose some innocent person like a child, or lady or anyone for that matter to just committ violence against than yes the libs push it a little to far to make sure their comfy after their conviction. Should a man that raped a child and physicly hurt them along with the rape get a colored tv, and three square meals a day and medical care you and I can't get, and let back out on the streets to do again after a few months in jail is being to dam-n nice? yelp, put the one fighting for his or her rights in prison with them, their just as f-u as the criminal

I do not speak for all Liberals, but as an American I care about the rights of every human being.

I think criminals should be punished in an appropriate manner, in proportion to the heinousness or severity of the crime committed. What do you think?

I also think that victims should have the right to redress for the injustice committed. So what do all of you think?

What makes you imagine it really is a person-pleasant subject of all Liberals? i can make the same reality that Republicans opt to dangle teenage shoplifters or absolutely everyone else committing a petty crime as a preemptory punishment for what they made do later in existence. i'm a Proud Liberal and an recommend of Capital Punishment to in good structure the crime. i don't think of absolutely everyone might want to describe Texas as being a liberal state, yet they paroled murderers who killed dissimilar human beings shortly after being released. Parole develop into performed for overcrowding and budgetary causes, not political. they have considering that fixed that hollow. the major issue with the shortcoming of existence penalty is it would want to't be undone. Prosecutors do not search for justice yet convictions. they each from time to time cheat with the info. Witnesses are unreliable it really is a lengthy regular reality and sometime forensic info is falsified as we've realized about a FBI tech guy who did not do his interest. so as aggrivating because it really is to confirm a lack of existence sentence in the back of schedule for years through criminal skill it enables dissimilar the possibility free to be stated and released. For the serial killers, new child killers and maximum evil of criminals, there is a normal way for justice to be served immediately. merely get rid of defensive custody and make those killers spend their time with the final detention center inhabitants. they gained't very last lengthy and it would want to maintain the state a ton of money.

I dont like how this is going black and white. I would say some yes, some no. I am a liberal, but I also agree on some opposing ideas. I would think a few would just because thats what there focus is, and others would be more for victims rights because thats what there focus is. It is ment to be a balance for everyone.

they are to numb from the neck up to care about anything but themselves, so if they are guilty of something but just haven't been caught yet they will push for criminal rights, if they have been the victim of a crime they will push for unreasonable restrictions on the things used to commit the crime against them, like if someone had there throat slashed by a burglar, a liberal relative is likely to want to ban every xacto knife. then when they realize that a person can sharpen a butter knife to have a sharp blade they will want to rid the world of these too

In all of their liberalness, they create laws that end up protecting the criminal more than the victim. All for the sake of being liberal.

No. However lets play a game. Lets say someone wrongly accused you of a crime.I guess you would love to have no rights. No right to confront witness's against you. I suppose you would just love it if they took you striaght to water torture.

Any idea how many people on death row have been proven innocent by DNA. So we were going to execute these innocent people. I guess thats okay

UNLESS IT WAS YOU.

Do conservatives have a brain?

No, we care about that both get due process under the law, and under the constitution. A concept that seems to be out of your grasp!

Why is iy that the Constitution matters so little to most Republicans? Is it because it gets in the way of your cheating people out of their money?
