for me it's rigel
why? bcoz of its blue color
pronounced as Ry guhl is a blue-white star in the southwest corner of d constellation Orion.
Rigel is one of the brightest stars in the galaxy perhaps 50,000 times brighter than the sun.
Rigel's diameter is 60 x larger than the sun
Rigel is over 900 light years away from the sun

My favorite star is Vega . Because it is the most beautiful star I've ever seen.
A beautiful blue star which is amazing to view in the telescope. It's crisp & refreshing to look at live. It glistens as you look at it against the background stars. You can see it right here..

It outshines all the stars in view. It is a hot new star and will be that way for a very long time. Also it is a sign of the summer stargazing season. Lately everynight when I go outside to look at the night sky with my telescope I see it rising about 12:30 am I know the beautiful season for summer moon stargazing is right around the corner.

My second is Arcturus

Polaris,the north star,not only easy to spot but has been useful as a guide for many centuries to a lot of ancient travelers to find their way home

It has to be Betelguse, a red giant in Taurus and 9th brightest star im the heavens.

sirius . its one of the brightest stars (and tis got a good name!!!).
and coz of the ambiguity in its color-red /white/blue??scientists are baffled and im overawed
