Oden and Durrant are naturals, however there are numerous other players who could have impacts for a number of teams in this lottery. Tell me which player you think will have the biggest and fastest impact next season!

Oden should have the biggest impact because he changes teams just by standing in the middle of the paint looking for blocks. If you mean besides the big two (Oden and Durant), it is easiest for rookies to contribute right away on defense because unless you are ridiculously talented, it takes a little bit to adjust to the NBA game offensively. For this reason, I think Corey Brewer will have an extremely fast impact this year as he will use his long reach to play defense and earn minutes fast.

Of course Durant is going to be the favorite to get ROY next year. And also Oden is going to be a nice player to choose to have a lot of impact. But Im going to go beyond just those tow and say two other guys who might make an impact sooner then later. I think there are players that are going to be NBA ready just because they are physically strong enough to play in the NBA. Guys like Al Horford and Al Thorton would be two good examples.

I think Oden and Durant would be the most scrutinized players in the draft just like james and carmelo was when they were drafted but expect someone that will sneak in like wade and piss off all the other GMs for picking highly scouted but lazy players (Im giving the stink eye on you carmelo)

It will all depend on what team the player will land on... i believe aside from oden and durant, alot of guys in this draft have talent. the roles and minutes that they will from their team will determine their impact..

but to answer your question, i think the ucla guy alfflalo and acie law III will have impact on their teams next year. they are senior and have more polished games. given the playing time they will have impact.
