Connection Error?

Every 5 seconds I Get the error "unable to connect' I have windows XP and am using Firefox. I have already cleared the cache.

Are you on a wired or wireless connection?

The message means you are disconnecting from the "local" network either because the eithernet cable is dropping or the wirless connector is dropping.

I have seen corrupted drivers cause this or a bad cable, switch, router, modem etc. Need a little more information to help much further.
