Take any shaving cream with lanolin in it and rub it into the glove. Put a softball into the pocket and a softball in the palm. If you have a long cotton 'scarf/muffler' (my husband uses one he got in the Army), use it. Or tie four baseball socks (the white 'sanitary' style) together and wrap them around the glove and balls. Stick it in the dryer for about 30 to 45 minutes.

A former big league player taught us this trick. My daughter was a catcher/3B and we broke in every one of her mitts and gloves this way.

Get glove oil (your sporting goods store should have this) and a ball. Rub a good dose of oil into the glove, put the ball in the pocket, and put a big rubber band around the glove (cradling the ball in the pocket). Leave it alone for a few days or until the oil is dry. That's a good start....to break it in completely after that, you just gotta use it. :)

This made my glove feel the best when it was new! Get butt cream (vaccine) and rub it all around your glove. Then put the glove in the stove for about 5 min on 360 degrees f. When u take it out get a ball, put into the glove, and get rubber bands around it. It will be broke in and if you continue to put the ball in the glove with a rubberband or string around it then it will be a great glove if not it will be a pancake glove.

No fooling if u fold it close and sit on it for 30 minutes to an hour it will be perfect. It has always worked for me. TRUST ME. Or fold it close and park a car on it for the same amount of time. Either way u get the job done.
