He was Really good but went really Far down hill really fast. I do also think for that time there were many other "Rock & Roll" artists that were as good if not better.

I don't think you can say any artist is overrated. Every one enjoys different music so generalist statements in the music world are just wrong.
Different bands/singers mean different things to different people. Some people just click with certain music styles and obviously alot of people appeared to have clicked with Elvis's style. If thats what works for them then just let it be..

No, because even hardcore Elvis fans would probably concede that he was a better entertainer than a musical genius or innovater. And, as an entertainer, he was tremendous. But no one would seriously argue that he was a better singer than, say, Roy Orbison, or more influential than Chuck Berry and the Beatles.

He was very talented I wouldn't say he is overrated but a lot of other musicians who were just as good if not more talented that aren't recognized enough.

I think he was before his time musically. In his day he WAS the king. (key word "was") He has made a great contribution to the music world, but I think he is super hyped-up by today's standards. So, yes. Totally.

He may have not been great in your time, but in our time he was the true King of Rock& Roll, and he will live on in us, for as long as we shell live.
