Hmmmm......when I was 13 myself and my best friend did!!! We shoplifted covergirl makeup! LMAO And we got busted!!!! Oh we were scared!!! What was so funny was we never wore makeup..so when they caught us..they made us go in this little room to scare us, and the 1 guy says you girls don't even wear makeup..and oh I had to open my mouth and say that's why we were taking it..we didn't have any!!! Oh he had to laugh..but they made us pay and not keep the makeup..we learned a lesson..but thinking of it now..it is a funny memory! Thanks!!!!

It used to be funny in a kind of pathetic way, stores would hire us to work off-duty security and you would sit up behind the mirrors and watch people shoplift thru binoculars and then go arrest them.
This one guy in particular had a buddy go to each end of the aisle, then stuffed multiple cartons of cigarettes up his jacket. You could tell he thought he was going to get way with it, because nobody had walked down the aisle where he was. Then he made sure the smokes were settled, ins his coat and walked out the store. I arrested him and said "huh, your lookouts didn't do a very good job!" ROFL.

No but then again, I don't really pay attention to other people when I go shopping.
I tend to keep a close eye on my purse, my cart & my boyfriend instead, lol!
P.S. I have heard of people shoplifting who use the check-out assistant or cashier to get their stolen item(s) through though! Can you believe this buddy?!?

Yah. Lots of people. I worked in retail for a while. They all do the same thing. Get close to the product, look around a lot, steal the product and practically run for the door...

yep. my sisters friend once only needed one pair of earrings off a pack of like 10 so she took only the one she needed. my sister had pierced her ear earlier and didnt want her mom to know.
