Is this a good deal because I heard the owners are talking about it right now.

No. Doc Halladay is arguably the best pitcher this year, and if not will finish in the top 5. Millar swings for the fence everytime and will bat around .225. Benson is injured and even if he wasn't wouldn't do much. Keep Halladay!

Kris Benson is out for the season with a torn rotator cuff and Kevin Millar is an average, nothing special 1st baseman who hits around .280 with 15 HRS/75 RBI's. Roy Halladay is one of the elite pitchers in the league (3-0 2.50 era and less than 1.00 WHIP so far this season) and whoever makes this deal needs is just plain crazy!!!

The Blue Jays sending the ace of their staff to a divisional opponant for a 1st baseman who is still productive but would only be a "stop-gap" for the Blue Jays and a pitcher who's out for the season?

I'm sorry but that's not happening, and I'm an Orioles fan.

Charmed, the announcer pernounced Kevin's last name by way of how it's spelled: MillAr. Secondly, Bill Mueller also pernounces his last name as "Miller"

Seeing as Benson blew his Rotator Cuff and is done for the year. If some fool were to offer me Halladay for him and Millar, I would jump all over it. Then again, I wouldn't be fool enough to have Benson on my roster, unless there was a category for Hot High-Maintenance Wives.

Are we talking fantasy or real baseball??? Its a bad deal in either context, but not as bad if its a real trade. In terms of real baseball its purely a money saving deal for the Jays, with the O's getting a great pitcher. In Fantasy terms however you would give up an ace for two guys who have no business on your team anyway...

A franchise player for someone who can't pitch this season and an infielder whom the Jays don't need?

Did you think at all before posting this?

Someone is pulling your leg.

If that HORRIBLE deal goes through i will stop supporting the Jays there and then because they are pretty much saying that they quit on the season.

No, Halladay is awsome. Take this from a mets fan who had benson for 2 years. His wife is hot, but he can't pitch. Plus he's OUT FOR THE YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You didn't hear anyone talking about this unless you're talking about fantasy baseball. This is an awful trade suggestion.
