It's a lot better looking than Bush's $800 billion Iraq war.

The Republicans are the party that tout themselves towards the blue-collar worker. They try to appeal to the populists especially when they position the Democrats as the "aloof elitist". It's sort of like an ugly girl fighting over a guy saying "you can't date her, she's ugly!". Neither party can have a monopoly on religion or poor people's rights, but the conservatives try.
Fyi: 400 "hollywood haircuts" but your beloved president's suits cost between 2,000- 14,000 a piece. The 14,000 suit is more than some people live on a year.

I wouldn't vote for him due to his policies but if he has the money, he should be able to spend it any way he wants (as long as it's legal, of course). Of course, it is naive to think that sort of thing wouldn't get out and not the smartest way of convincing people that you need money for an election but it's the special interest groups that Democrats traditionally depend on and they probably don't care so much so it may not hurt him funding wise. In the end, though, it's the voters that count and this will hurt his chances.

Do you really think that any haircut is worth $400? But he is wealthy anyway so I wonder how many of those haircuts he got before but no one knew.
Yeah, I have to admit that was pretty dumb for a Democrat.

He paid his campaign back for that (or didn't anybody watch the debate) It was all just a mistake. Mistakes like that I can forgive. Wars on imaginary enemies that cost 800 billion and thousands of lives? Those are the kinds of mistakes I can't forgive!!
