I don't dine out.

TMAN I send it back..I explain to the waiter or waitress that I am not blaming them..they did not cook it..but if I cannot eat what I ordered..I feel I must return it..and at times ask for the manager if it is really bad..but I am never rude. I just feel a person works hard for the money they spend..so why accept a meal you will not eat. To me it is no different than if I bought something and it did not work..I am going to return it. I know many people who will just sit there not say a word and not eat. Now what gets me..is if the waiter or waitress sees a full plate.and says with a smile was everything ok. I am like duh...they did not eat it!!!! LMAO!!
Ciao

I sent a hamburger back once cause it was red in the middle. Luckily I could see in the kitchen and I kept a close eye on it. The only other thing I've done is told the waiter that my husband's pork chop was really over-cooked and to just let the cook know... we didn't ask for a new one. Normally I don't say anything - those are the only two things I can think of. But dang - that pork chop was so bad a dog wouldn't eat it.

If I'm at a fancy restaurant and I'm paying a lot of money for what is supposed to be 5 star cuisine and it isn't cooked correctly, I absolutely send it back. A waiter looking down his nose at me doesn't intimidate me one bit.

If you want my money......give me what I want. Thank you!

I send it back. I like things the way I like them. And I don't like to settle for anything less.

I am reluctant to send food back.
