well india doesn't have players who work as a team
they must concentrate on the sport n forget abt hte money
coach is a problem but u can't balme him completely
let them work as a teram n dey will win
they have the talent but the execution is jus not rite
the bcci has changed sumthings
lets hope they bring gud results
stop worshipping them as gods n they will b put in deir place
team work shd replace individucvals selfihness
but the Aussies have a wonderful captain in Ponting n r definitely the best who deserved to win

Simple. They did not play well at all. We should understand that the standard of the players cannot be improved merely by hero worshipping them. Merit should be the sole criterion in selections. I will not be surprised if any one demands quota system even in selecting the Indian teams in the future. It is time India understood what is International competition is all about.

Making it more precise Why india couldn't defeat Bangladesh ?there were Minus chances of india winning this cup with the participation of many other stronger teams ! but atleast they should have qualified for the super eight.and reason is They didn't played with profesional dedication, the team was not organized, the policies were weak.....Coach couldn't guide the team well and players didn't put their effort at all.........This was the failure of whole team plus the managment !

Imran Saheb, there r many reasons . Some of them r :Bad selection of the team, no coach problem, advertisement, regionalism, communalism,lack of integrity, media's biased hypes in favour of few bad players like Tendulkar, Ganguly & Dravid etc., indiscipline in some so called senior players behaving like hawks & MAFIAS & bad planning before the matches, to mention few.

I think it was cricket board of india first then the coach and players. coz player in indian team were made heroes for very little achievements there were no glories and yet they were compared and considered as great as those who were great in the past cricket. this was all the efforts of BCCI our then coach Greg chapple and the media too.

It is simple. They didn't get the world cup because they didn't play well. If they played well, they would have been the winner of World Cup 2007.

everything.the whole team including the coach is not good.before leaving to west indies,all teams where practising very hard.but our players were acting in advertisements.the BCCI must change the whole team and the government must give importance to other games also.

Coach was problem. Evrything were a problem.
I wud attribut it to 2 mains causes:
1.Indira Gandhi
2.Rajiv Gandhi
INDIRA GANDHI
She was the one who separated Bangladesh from the name "East Pakistan". If she hadn't created Bangladesh, it wouldn't have been a nation. Nor would it have come into the World Cup nor would it have defeated India in the league matched
RAJIV GANDHI
There was a time when it was possible to join India to Sri LAnka but he didn't do it. So, SL became a separate nation and it defeated India in the league matches

Beacause they didn't play well, they have good talent, experience, everything but they just did not make good use of it.
But i have not yet lost my faith on them, i will continue to support my Indian team during the good times and the bad times!!

India's main problem is the inconsistent performance of players, who fail to perform to their situation in crunch situations.
