My gf goes out with her female freinds to drink a little and dance a little with her freinds about once a month. A freind of mine and I agree that she ought to have protection on her just in case.

Both of us used to go out to the clubs, and often enough we hooked up with girls on girls nights out that we knew had or most likely had boyfreinds - or more (as in, my freind hooked up with a chick with a ring). it wasn't that they were disatisfied, but we showed them some excitement and sometimes it paid off. those were crazier days for me - and i don't live like that anymore - but there were certainly guys who were way better at scoring than i was.

so my thing is, if my gf ends up in the back seat - and i don't think she will (i just think, and at least one other guy i know has confirmed, when your out and booze is involved, **** happens) - i'd like for her not to bring anything home to me. i mean, if it happened, i'd never know. i repeat - i have no suspicion - i just think if your out partying, you ought to have proper equipment.

so is my logic sound? And how do you tell your gf she ought to have protection without 1) making a tacit accustation or 2) giving legitimacy to improper conduct?

Um I always carry condoms. Not because I have intent, you just don't know what could happen. I''m not one who sleeps around I never have been but, I also don't want an STD or pregnancy...etc. Most of the time it's either a guy friend of mine or one of my girls that ends up using my jimmys. I think at this day and age if you are having sex and you don't carry a condom you're just disrespecting your body and being reckless. That is not hot no matter how you look at it! I'm glad my guy carries condoms. Just be open and real with her if she gets upset then you might not be dating the right girl. Or she's just immature. Good luck.

the excuse that booze is involved is invalid. unless you're so drunk you can't stand up, you KNOW what you're doing and in that situation, is she even going to be able to make the guy put a condom on much less make a viable decision as it whether or not she even wants to have sex with this guy? you could say that by having her carry a condom around with her in the event of an accident, you're going to advocate the possibility of some guy to rape your girlfriend using a condom you supplied so you don't get some kind of disease? no way, man... wrong move.

girls should go to parties and clubs with responsible friends who will watch their backs and vice versa... you don't get yourself into scenarios and situations like that... you never go anywhere without your friends or you never go anywhere with some guy you just met... you never get into anyone's vehicle... you never drink anything from anyone you don't know or trust...

and you have zero trust issues with your girlfriend and that's great... but you aren't giving her the benefit of the doubt... sure, sh*t happens... if you're really concerned about this, talk to her about it... don't automatically throw her a package of condoms as the end all fix for your fear of catching a "random" STD.

there is no such thing as "accidental cheating"!!

Yes they should carry them and guys too.
You never know now days what can happen so it's best to play it safe just in case you want to do something with someone.
Even if no booze is involved.

I have protection with me just in case it is a very scary world we live in and if you have to many drinks and get in the mood for some sex they could come in very handy, and if he has some to then you will definitely be good to go!

If she's so drunk she'd cheat on you it's unlikely she'd remember to use a condom.
If you are worried she'll bring home a disease, tell her that if she ever cheats on you, you want her to tell you right away. Then you can both get tested. That way you avoid implying you'd be okay with her cheating.

You wont like my answer but i want to be 110 percent honest with you: I dont think anyone should carry condoms on them if they are not MARRIED. have you ever heard of "pre-marital sex" thats not good, and further more you shouldnt carry condoms on you if your married they should just stay in the bedroom because Love does not equal Sex.

i think so because
1. its a mutual responsibility
2. u can have ur friend's back if she doesnt have anything and her new found friend doesnt have anything... then its not lost lol
3. like u said if she accidently cheats... there is protection there -- which makes it a little better...

YES because when people are drunks they will do stupid stuff they dont usually do when sober. So they could be so drunk and randomly hook up for some guy and end up having sex with him. Yeah proctecion is a MUST.

Yes, you should always be prepared for whatever. just slip a couple of condoms in her purse. It can't hurt but it might help.
