I am a SENS fan. I have lived in Ottawa for close to 20 years, and when we got a team I started cheering for them.
I think that Ottawa (at least for the past 4-5 years) has had a solid team defensively and offensively.
Plus - I love they way they kick the Leafs ***!

this is the main ridicoulus issue I ever heard! i wish there are a hundred's of Sens followers there! it somewhat is a interest no longer a war!! this is my puppy peeve whilst gamers, followers, announcers say interest is war or those are our squaddies! After being in Afghanistan two times and Iraq 6 circumstances they have not got any clue what war is!! enable then spend 2 days there and that i'm particular each physique could replace there way of thinking!! NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB that is all in basic terms a dam interest for leisure applications in basic terms!! So dont ever positioned war and interest interior an identical breath! ok i gets off my cleansing soap container now and pass take my medicine. Sorry appropriate to the ranting in basic terms struck a nerve!

I am.
I'm a Michigander and a Wings fan first and foremost, but when the league expanded in the early nineties, it was to California twice, Florida twice, and to Ottawa. So I rooted for the Senators on the Wales/Eastern side, since I always thought hockey when it's 80 outside was kinda silly.
So if the Sens and Wings face off in the finals, well, boo Sens, but otherwise, I hope they win it all.

I lived in Binghamton for a few years and was able to watch many of these guys develope down there. The lockout season was particularly great due to the fact that Binghamton had Spezza, Vermette, Emery, and Volchenkov along with a few other players currently on the Sens roster.

I've been a Sens fan since I started actually following hockey this past December; because they play a classy game. They are not snobbish; Historically, they are the Canadian underdog, but play with heart, regardless of what the media says,(good or bad)
